"Advanced telnet" is going to get into the mainstream MPE release sooner or
later. I think most people will feel that that's well worth the difference.
However advanced telnet can be applied as a patch to any version of MPE, 5.5
or beyond. Although the patches have different markings on them as to which
MPE version the patch is compatible, the code inside the patch is identical,
regardless of version.
