I'm just at a loss for why you would air all this in public. It's very sad.

Excerpts from Jon. over several months......to myself and the client.

Latest to Oldest.... You make your own judgments. BTW- these are only a few.

You wonder why I let this go on for so long. Shame on me...

===================
The COPYLIB DATASETS does not exist on CLIENTS system at
all. Can Jon provide this COPYLIB? Is it really needed? ***This is a
SHOW STOPPER.***
[Jon]> I created no copybooks for this project. (LIE)
If any of them are missing from CLIENTS system, then I would recommend
requesting a copy
from Ecometry (Not theirs it is custom).
 I am not legally able to distribute the copies I had.
I know of other developers that got into legal issues with Ecometry for
doing that. (Hide behind Legal) The copylibs were created by Jon or his
programmer
that does not keep in touch with him any more... (stiffed by Jon)? Who
knows.

============
This one is funny..... No joke, how long does it take to create an invoice?

Jon, When I spoke to you last week you said you had invoicing for Fahrney's.

Can you send me the copies so I can bill Chris?

Thanks
=======================
Hello Jon,
I understand that you are busy but I guess we need to have an understanding
here.

I guess there is some friction that I do not understand. You sent a very
nasty e-mail
and have not even made contact with me since. Are you still working on
issues at Fahrney's?

If you have an issue with me I would like to know what it is. Please respond
==========
FYI - Jon
I think Chris would like a call back soon....... He is not a happy guy again
this week. Do you know what he is asking for?
Let me know if you need me to do anything up front.

Thanks
Joe

I have not heard a word from him. I left another voice mail today that he
needs to call
Between you and me he better not be expecting any kind of payments anytime
soon.
Chris

Chris, Sent Jon this e-mail this morning!
I always get a response when I ask him for an Invoice. Anyway has he
contacted you yet?
Joe,
There is not invoice for October. All my time for Fahrney's has
been small incidental questions, etc. again.

Thanx,
Jon Backus

Beats me, I tried calling him yesterday and today. No answer but I did not
leave a message either. Have you left him voice mail?

Joe

========

SEE A PATTERN HERE ------ Too busy? for what. Unless he fell off the planet
maybe.
Months on Months of this baby sitting. And these e-mails were only from last
year.

Sorry he dragged you in BUT. Let's set the story straight. He has his way by
hiding and
I cannot keep it from this forum since he "created" it.

Let me state it again.
Jon Stiffed me and his client's). Since you seem to have a different
opinion.
Jon sits behind the "I am too busy" story. Let's state the facts.

I paid Jon a generous amount of money to $100.00 per hour.
Jon was asked on many occasions to provide documentation to me and the
client.

Not once,twice but Many times. Ignor the client on several occasions trying
to get answers and "not telling" us that he had in fact taken on a fulltime
job. He could have easily solved this issue by telling me and his clients
that he could no longer provide services. Instead he waits to make an
announcement in December about a job he has taken months before this time.
Telling me that he owes this client nothing is a sin. This is why I am going
to the only forum he will hear these words. He refuses to give full
disclosure of what he has done and also brings in subs without providing who
the person(s) are nor will he provide phone numbers for these people under
the premise that it is not fair to give out anyones phone number. All he
would have to do is have a conversation with me for better than one or two
minutes.
Busy, I am on the road every week but I seem to have the time to keep my
clients up to date or I bring in resources that can handle the extra load
without the secrets.

Jon is a stiff,
The "others" that I have spoken to that have been stiffed by him will remain
silent because who needs more big mouths other than me. You know who you
have hosed.
Hide behind Ron and others Jon. If you have time to talk to him why can't
you tell the truth and finish your mess. You have also stated that some
source code comes from Ecometry when in fact you created it and will not
give it to the client. We have confirmed that it is not part of Ecometry.

OpenMpe created by Jon and left in a big mess by Jon.
