There are two directions HP could follow. The straight and narrow path of
the stable, unglamorous home-grown platform. Or the sparkly new ipods and
HP-TVs. I hope they notice that a lot of us have been watching this since
the 3000 itself was a sparkly new platform; and the only thing that
impresses us is long term stability and performance (ie HP3000 of the
seventies, eighties, and nineties).

What should be done immediately to let the new CEO know of the great
opportunity for addressing the issues MPE users have regarding the wrong
headed direction of HP?
