'Open Source Solaris' to debut this year

IMHO, because of the overlap of MPE & HPUX, I still think OPENMPE would gain more traction and have a better chance if the mission were changed to OPEN-PA/RISC.

Some good information in the article about how SUN is implementing Open Source. Questions still remain on the exact benefits to SUN and the implications for the future of HPUX.
