Hi all,

I have new versions of my Volume Set management UDCs and the AbortJ
script ready for anyone willing to try them out!

The Volume Set management UDCs allow the system manager to more easily
enforce rules regarding placing certain (or all) accounts on User
Volumes, requires a minimum password length, generates random passwords,
limits user files on the system volume set, supports "$sys" as an
abbreviation for "MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET", and now, logs the creation,
modification, and deletion of users, accounts, and groups.

The ABORTJ script (or ABORTJOB UDC) lets you abort multiple jobs and/or
session with wildcarding, exclusion, based on IP address, jobQ, ldev,
exec state, etc. I just added a "verify" option so you can see what it
will abort without it actually doing anything.

You can read more about these (prior versions) on Jazz at:

1) http://jazz.external.hp.com/src/scripts/udcvol/readme.html

2) http://jazz.external.hp.com/src/scripts/abortj_readme.txt

I will be updating the Jazz readme files shortly.

If you would like a "pre-release" copy of either of these two tools just
ask. After some real world exposure I'll make them available to all on
Jazz.

Thanks,
 Jeff Vance, vCSY
