Hello Friends:

Patrick has done his reporting for Computerworld, and the story
appears on page one of this week's issue. Five sources, some able
reporting. Mostly correct, aside from referring to OpenMPE as a user
group.

Or is it? I'm sure Interex would like to hear about this point.

Ah, but the sidebar on Page 14, where that front page story jumps to,
needs only one skeptical user to cast doubt on the future of MPE:

So what do you think, customers? Do you agree with the VP at Tufts
Health Plan that you "can't really get engaged in operating system
development?" Or is the prospect of having MPE cared for by someone
other than HP not any more scary than using Linux? (Not to say that
Linux doesn't have its bald spots, too...)
