To the MPE Community,

The OpenMPE Board of Directors is pleased to announce that our annual
election for Board of Director positions is about to begin. Please
visit: <http://www.openmpe.org/OpenMPEBoardCandidates.htm> to read
about this year's candidates.

The election will begin on Monday, February 28 2005 and will run
through Friday, March 17 2005, 5:00pm (PT). The results will be
publically announced on March 21 2005, following formal Board approval.

In order to place a vote, you must be a member of OpenMPE. Go to
<http://www.openmpe.org/Membership.htm> to complete the membership
form.

To look up your membership number, please visit:
<http://www.dis.com/openmpe/find.html>. This site will email your
membership number to the email address recorded with OpenMPE. If you
need additional membership assistance, send an email to Donna Garverick
(dgarverick at longs dot com).

In the event of multiple votes cast by one person, only the first
ballot received will be counted.

Ron Seybold is again our independent election observer. The Board of
Directors is grateful for Ron's willingness to participate and would
like to thank him.

Every vote cast will make a difference in determining MPE's future. HP
is listening!

On behalf of the OpenMPE Board of Directors,
Donna Garverick

Come, my friends, 'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.
