For those who have been wondering what actions HP will take to address the
OpenMPE 'gang of 6' and other issues of interest to MPE users who plan on
continuing to run MPE until or even beyond 2006, be sure to attend Dave
Wilde's HP e3000 strategic session on Wednesday (9/25), from 2:00 until
3:00, for an overview and then attended the OpenMPE session later that same
day, from 4:00 until 6:00, to learn the details. Representing HP in the
OpenMPE session will be Mike Paivinen, Dave Wilde, and possibly Kriss Rant.
Naturally Jeff Vance will be there as well playing his dual role of OpenMPE
Board of Director's member and representing HP. Following the outlining of
the HP plans and announcements will be a general roundtable discussion and
reaction by the "OpenMPE community". We think you will find the information
that will be presented very interesting and we look forward to your
presence.

Thanx,
