The most trouble I would expect you to have is in dealing with HP and Cognos.
From my experience, you are best finding a box which already has the correct
number of user licenses and has the right kind of Image (probably Image/SQL),
and Cobol.  Failing that, at least get the right number of user licenses.  HP
doesn't want to deal with the 9x7s any more and they refused to sell user
licenses for them.  If Cognos continues to support MPE, you should be ok there.
I don't know what they plan to do, though, and getting Cognos on a second box
(to avoid that problem) may be prohibitively expensive.  Disc, DbGeneral,
VESoft and ROC I expect to all be happy to deal with license transfers quite a
while into the future.
