We have been asked by HP to gauge the interest in having another, probably
final, System Improvement Ballot (SIB).

One January 14, Jeff Vance posted an update to HP3000-L and OPENMPE-L (see
http://raven.utc.edu/cgi-bin/WA.EXE?A2=ind0501&L=openmpe&F=&S=&P=740 and
http://raven.utc.edu/cgi-bin/WA.EXE?A2=ind0501&L=openmpe&D=0&P=854 for his
postings) about the status of the items from the 2004 SIB (see
http://www.interex.org/advocacy/survey/2004mpe_results.html for the results
of the 2004 SIB).

Please use either HP3000-L or OPENMPE-L to indicate your interest in another
SIB (i.e., should we have one?). If you think we should, please note the
requests/enhancements you would like to see on an SIB.
