I'm not sure what the "spin" claim is all about. Almost three times as many
people voted this year as last; something I view as positive regardless of
the reasons behind people voting. Steve and I were the most vocal candidates
and we both got elected. There was a public call for nominations, so no one
was shut out. If that means that everyone who ran got a seat on the Board,
so be it.
There is no precedent for releasing the vote totals by individual. Frankly,
I do not see why there is a desire to see individual votes. What is to gain?
Every Board member has the same number of votes, one, regardless the number
of votes s/he got in the election.
I intend to keep my promises and do what I think is in the best interests of
the OpenMPE members whether I got the most votes, the fewest number of votes
or something in between.
