I personally doubt there will be much of a 3rd party market on the emulated
MPE systems at first.

If the emulator supports integration with apps running on the host OS, which
it will have to do to be sucessfull, I just do not see the current system of
inflated licensing and support fees as sustainable when there will be
equivalent apps available for free or at a fraction of the current pricing.
I expect that many existing vendors will move on, when they find the
customers unwilling to pay what they are used to, and new vendors with
business model's that can support reasonable pricing will take their place
or customers will move to apps running in the host OS environment.
