I was not being combative, I was being defensive. The way your sentence read, I understood it to mean that the Sol Symp AND HP
World only had a few HP3000-relevant presentations.

That point of view really irked me, as we (Interex) are quite proud of the excellent content that has been put together for the Sol
Symposia. In order to serve the greatest number of people and to help lower the costs and travel time for the attendees, we are
holding two events, one on the east coast and one on the west coast. We have made the two events virtual copies of each other and
just about all the speakers have committed to be at both events. We are trying very hard to serve the HP e3000 community by
providing some of the top speakers on three tracks: migration planning; migration implementation and system fundamentals, networking
& homesteading information. Just taking a single example of the tremendous opportunities to learn at these events, my good friend
Michael Marxmeier, Mr. Eloquence himself, is going to be there.

These events represent the very essence of the users group, were it enables the interaction between attendees, speakers and HP. The
nice thing with the Solutions Symposia is the fact they are small events and totally focused on the HP e3000. If you want to talk
3000, this is the place.

I was sort of hoping that Jon Backus would chime in on this issue, because he will be holding

Denys, I can't understand why you're misunderstanding my original statement,
which includes "...Sol Symp & HPWorld, at which there actually ARE at least
a few HP3000-relevant presentations".

Yes, the SolSymp really IS HP3000 related, and IMHO has far greater value
that HPWorld, which vendors are obligated to attend if only due to
tradition.

Thanks for airing this year's SolSymp agenda, but please desist with the
combative stance?

TIA

Tracy Pierce
