It seems like creation of this simulator is hinging on a need for a minimum
investment of $1,000,000 over five years to support development. One
estimate for our conversion (at NWS), to another operating system was
$500,000 (over one year). It seems to me what we need is a medium and a
message that will explain to potential investors/users what we are trying to
develop, what OPENmpe will mean to them, what immediate benefits they can
point to (a tee-shirt or certificate declaring their eligibility for
infamy), and what we want them to do (if a company $5000, if a user $500).

Remember when...        MPE kicked butt!
{poster}
                        it still does.
What if...              MPE was OPEN?
{I want my MPE banner}
                        OPENmpe is dedicated to an open community / closed
source simulated hardware model where MPE runs on new hardware platforms
forever (any HP hardware LINUX runs).

Other ideas?
