I just said:
===========================================================

In a way following after Dave's "kick-off" of the MPE track
is not a bad slot... Wonder what the chances are that we
could get Dave to plug the OpenMPE session at the end of his
talk; i.e.: All he would have to say is something like:
"For those that are interested in the future of MPE after
end of HP Sales and end of HP support, the OpenMPE session
follows immediately after this session in Room xxxx."
I figure we could try and say they owe us that much.
===========================================================

I neglected to add a key sentence at the end of above: As
y'all may have seen on various lists and in the media, there
are big changes in the way HP World is being run this year:
It is no longer an Interex-only production: It has now
officially become a "joint production" of Interex, HP and
Encompass. So when things are juggled around like above, I
think it's fair for MPE users to consider HP as part of the
controlling agent doing the "juggling"... And therefore my
statement that I figure it would be fair for us to ask HP to
plug the OpenMPE session in Dave's talk when it has been
moved around so much.
