I have forwarded Keith and Matt's answers to the OpenMPE server, but
so far they haven't passed through.

Oh, and Donna Hofmeister's suggestion to pose questions to candidates
came across my desk just after voting began. I didn't the time to do
it until our February printed issue was into the mails. (New stories
in there, too, not yet posted out on our blog. Coming soon online, if
you don't get our print edition. <PLUG> It's free.)

Any questions offered in January would have had incomplete answers --
the field of candidates was not set until Feb. 11.

But thanks for proposing a new method. This year was an experiment,
with results that at least provided new data.

>Unfortunately these candidate questions were not out in January - having
>come out just this past Friday the 22nd. I understand this is the first time
>questions have been put to the candidates, which is why I suggested the
>incumbents answer as well. And maybe for the next election Q&A can happen
>before the voting begins.
