Hello Friends:

John Burke pointed out that the board resolved on 12-18 to publish
its proposed Agreement In Principle. This never happened, right?

It's true, this AIP was published -- but not by OpenMPE. It was part
of Ken Sletten's "minority view" open letter. Ken was censured on
January 8 by the board for posting his letter, which also included
an Oct. 31 e-mail from HP's Mike Paivinen to the board.

We've got the text of Ken's letter, as well as an exclusive reply
from HP (from Dave Wilde) posted at the NewsWire Web site. Go to
<http://www.3000newswire.com/open4.html> to read them both.

What do you believe about HP's intentions to help OpenMPE and the
homesteading customers?
