I have a deal for you. I will give $500 to the first person or company
who provides me with a prospect (which becomes a contract) or a contract
that is for a minimum of two (2) months in length. For contract
lengths of less than two (2) months, the amount can be discussed.
Let me know what the work is and what rate fits the budget. All rates
are negotiable and are set by the hour, week, or by the project. All
proposed contacts will be considered. There is no need to send
development work overseas.

I am looking for contract work full-time or part-time, short term or
long term in Software Application Development (COBOL, Speedware 4/GL,
Cognos 4/GL, IMAGE, etc), Systems Analysis, full project management
(design, development, implementation, and documentation) or simple
program modifications. I am willing to travel to and from the client's
site, or perform the required work using the internet or both if it
fulfills the clients needs.
I have over 31 years of extensive experience on the HP platform using
both MPE and/or HPUX Operating Systems. During which time, I provided
the highest quality of services to dozens of public and private
corporations throughout Canada and the United States. I have also
provided presentations on subjects such as Organizing Program
Development (Software Development Standards), and Web Development (HTML
4.01 Primer).
Hewlett-Packard: My experience with HP Business Systems spans over 31
years (since 1977). Some of the contracts I have had, required me to
take on the responsibilities of one or more of the following: System
Management, Technical Support, Project Leader, System Analyst, Software
Development Specialist and System Operations. Extensive knowledge in
most major HP supported languages, databases, utilities and dozens of
third-party software like Suprtool, MPEX and AMISYS. I am also an HP
Solutions Provider Partner on multiple platforms.
Speedware: My experience with SPEEDWARE/4GL spans over 31 years (since
1979 - inception year). I have been involved in application
development, migrations, conversions, support and consultations
utilizing Speedware/4gl, various programming languages, databases and
utilities. I am fluent with all Speedware/4gl versions (Genasys through
to version 7) with both Speedware/4gl direct coding and using Designer
(version available) as a programming tool to create the code. For over
ten (10) years, I worked as a Speedware Value Added Business Partner.
Worked in tandem with Speedware Offices in both Montreal (Canada) and
the United States as an independent and external Technical Support
Resource (eTSR).
Cognos: I have several years of experience with the COGNOS/4GL package.
Although my experience with COGNOS is not current, I would welcome the
opportunity to work with it once again.
