Ok,... How about this?. I'm always having problems with setting up my
environment in X.

As I recall there is a system wide profile that gets executed for everybody
and it is stored in /etc/profile. This is an HP supplied profile so great
care must be taken when editing it as it can/will get overwritten by future
upgrades.

There can also be a local .profile in the home directory of each user that
is executed when that user logs on. This local .profile gets executed after
the above /etc/profile.

So, assuming that I'm not mistaken so far, I'd presume that there are other
"profiles" that get executed for an X session. My question is what other
profiles are ran upon a X login and in what order are they ran in relation
to the above profiles?
