Mainly Jeff (others may be interested)
Recently, I wrote about my practice of monitoring the 3000-L via the web.
Specifically, I use the URL history of my browser to color code the threads
I have already read or discarded. Makes for a quick scan of new topics or
new articles by color.
This is such a nit-to-pick that I feel compelled to apologize as I ask --
but would it be possible to segment the 9000-L by week in the same manner as
the 3000-L? I clear out my URL history weekly as the archive switches. If
the 9000-L is segmented monthly, my web technique is going to be hosed for
the 9000 list as many as 4 weeks out of 5.
At the outset, it isn't likely that the 9000-L will enjoy the amount of
traffic that the 3000-L does; weekly segments may seem a bit much. That may
change as HP's 3000 marketing continues to atrophy and more of us become
defacto HP-UX SysAdmins/users.
Thanks again for hosting this stuff! And for your patience with requests
like this one.
:)
