There are several security products available for MPE/iX, each
with its own strong points. All provide a fairly high degree
of traditional logon security, but they differ dramatically from
there. I believe each can provide a demo tape and documentation
for you to review.

. Private from OCS
. SAF/3000 from Monterey Software Group
. Security/3000 from VeSoft
. Sesame/3000 from Mighty Keys

I've actually used all of the above (except Private) to one degree
or another, and they are all good. In many ways they can actually
complement each other if used together (ex. SAF/3000 for file security
and auditing with Security/3000's STREAMX for "smart" batch jobs, etc.).
That may be overkill for most shops, but depending on your needs it may
be justifiable. There are many ways to accomplish a desired goal, and
many products out there (many may not normally be considered security
related either such as menuing systems, but can be used as such).
