I am writing a COBOL program accessing an Allbase database and still a
little fresh,
since I am used to using Turboimage. I couldn't find exactly what I was
looking for in
the Allbase/SQL COBOL manual or the Allbase/SQL reference manual.

This is just an inquiry program and for a particular table, I want to
declare a select
cursor ... the select will have an 'order by' on it. I would like to
open the cursor
without the 'keep cursor' option, as I will just need to get to one
entry (although multiple
entries will often qualify for the select). Will this work with the
'order by' on the select
statement the way I want it to?
