No OT needed!
IBM has a large and serious consulting and services practice that often
works on HP-UX. In addition, they have expertise with the HP3000 both as
users as well as consultants.
This is something where HP is a wannabee but has a LONG way to go to
approach the professionalism of IBM.
Since the HP3000 demise announcement, I have had several conversations with
IBM people who I am quite impressed with.
With the exception of news releases and a volume of feedback from a few
respected HP CSY folks, HP is in the same state that we accuse their
marketing of targeting (cold, raw, dead fish).
