Dennis,
A shot in the dark, but it is very important to have flow control
enabled on stat-mux's since the implementation of DTC's. The old
configuration on Micom's, Gandalfs etc. was to disable flow control for
spooled printers. Not so with MPEix dependent on XON/XOFF.
