If your DTC connection is an ATP port then pins 2 and 3 are the same and your
ground is pin 1.  If your DTC is using DB-25 connectors then 2 goes to 2, 3
goes to 3, and 7 goes to 7.
You may need to switch 2 and 3 depending on configuration settings on your
printer.
If you had a break out box the whole process would become easier to configure.
