I don't konw if this is a problem with 5.0 or not. We found two problems
the day after we upgraded to 5.0. First, some variables that were not
initialized properly in the program now had garbage in them. The
interesting thing about the garbage is it was always the same. Once we
initialized it, the program worked OK. It ran fine for years under 4.0 -
go figure. Also, we had a mystery bug. We use XLIBTRAP to trap file
errors in PASCAL. We seem to suddenly be getting file aborts when we
went to 5.0. We simply recompiled the routines and they worked fine.
The routine may have been placed into the XL we use improperly under 4.0
and failed under 5.0. The interesting thing is we didn't get Loader
errors, it just didn't trap the file errors any more. We considered both
to be very minor, but a little frustrating (ain't they all).

We are a DAR and have MPE 5.0 on a 937LX, our customers have 5.0 on a
928, 947, and 957. It is soon to be on a 955 and 922.

Good Luck
