I sent this message earlier, but it was returned. So, I'm resending it.

Hello HP Vectra experts!

I'm trying to install the latest HP OPenView DTC Manager software
on a 386 Vectra QS/20. Unfortunately, it comes only with a 40 MB
disc drive. After I was finished installing DOS, WorkGroup for Windows,
HP Open View, and FTP, there was not enough disc space left to install
the DTC Manager software (which was my real intention in the first place!).
(So, I had to resort to using DBLSPACE or DRVSPACE to compress my
hard disc.)

I tried changing the hard disc to a 108 MB, but can't seem to make it
work. The 108 MB hard disc is an HP drive made by Quantum, and has 5 heads.
But the 'setup /t' command on the 386 shows that a disc drive with 5 heads
can only have up to 40 MB. It seems like I can only use 40 MB of my 108 MB
hard disc.

Has anyone tried to work on this dilemma before? Come to think of it,
the 386 was top of the line when we bought it 4-5 years ago.

Thanks.
