while neglecting to read that Tom is looking for an MPEX solution.

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to combine more than one
selection criteria by slipping an "AND" into the mix.

Try specifying ALTSPOOLFILE THIS.THAT.THEOTHER (SPOOL.DEVICE="such" AND
SPOOL.OUTPRI="such"); PRI=7.
