Anybody have anything good or bad to say about HP external usb dat tape
drives? I'm considering ordering one, probably the 'DAT72' version.

My particular application will be using plain-old Micro$oft ntbackup on an XP
pro user pc. I'm pretty sure ntbackup can write to these, but can anybody
confirm it?

I'm not entirely sure what the differences are between the full-price version
available at HP's web site (and others) vs the much cheaper 'oem' version, but
since I don't need any included backup software or "One Button Disaster
Recovery", I'm inclined to go for the 'oem' version. I know where to download
drivers if they aren't included. Comments ?

TIA
