I have downloaded a basic interpreter, called ScriptBasic, for
use by my son in a school project. It seems a rather
complete package but before I install it on any of my home
machines I would like to find out if any of you have any
experience with, or possess first hand knowledge about, it.
My son is doing a QBASIC project at school and I particularly
wish to know if there are any significant differences in the
syntax between the two interpreters.

ScriptBasic supposed to run on Win2000pro. Win2Kpro and
Win2K Advanced Server are the only OS's I have running at
home so I need a solution that will run on a Win2Kp machine.
If any of you have alternative suggestions then I would be most
appreciative.

(I am a cruel and unusual parent; there are no local accounts
in the domain, user logon times are enforced, no admin
privileges for my kids' accounts, no kids on the server, zone
alarm at ISC and on all stations, GriSoft AVG6 on all
machines, etc.)

Regards,
Jim
