While I didn't intend my previous email on this subject to be public, let me
say that Bush's reputation for not being well informed is not going to serve
him very well. It's going to be a burden he's going to have to get past
relatively quickly if he's to have any success.

There are always going to be a large number of jokes about whoever currently
holds the office -- but if they have a grain of truth, they tend to not only
stick but they also tend to define the individual.

In that regard, the funniest overnight joke I saw was from the Daily Mirror
in London, which had a congratulatory sentence directed to Bush, but in
relatively small type. On the other hand, it also had the phrase, "P.S. We
are here.", written in very large type, with an arrow pointing to England on
a picture of the world.
