I went, thanks to the HP Advisor (3000) and the nice person who took my
registration at the 800-224-hp3k phone line that told me about the other
broadcasts (9000 servers and workstations). Too bad not too many others
got the word! Apparently, nobody from the 9000 market around here was
told about those broadcasts and I didn't get any personalized invitation
to even the 3000 one. This is dispite our having PSS contracts for both
3000 and 9000 and I'm the system manager of record for both. Who did HP think
would be on the receiving end? This reminds me of the "traveling strategic
direction show for the hp3000s" that came by New Orleans Sept 14 when our
company was the *only* one to have heard about it! You would think it wouldn't
be so hard to announce such a thing.

At least my sales rep (bless him which he still exists) did get me copies of
the 3000 ordering and configuration guides!
