If you are manually doing this there is a third type of step you need to perform.



You need to HOME the desired groups in the account to the user volume:



:altgroup pub.acct;homevs=VSET_NAME_HERE



Repeat for every group desired.



Otherwise the default for every for every intended instance (restores, user logons) will point to groups on the system volume.



(My example uses 'pub' above because you get at least one pub group by default, you may have others.)
