Ray,

A LOT of people saw it coming, try googling "Peter Schiff" and watch all the pundits laugh at him as he predicts the future with incredible accuracy.

In fact I would bet a majority of the public understand and see the problem very clearly.  They are watching a slow motion train wreck and the very destruction of our 'way of life'.

While the public sees the problem quite clearly, the best the financial wizards in Washington can come up with is "Let's give away another trillion dollars we don't have to all the people that contributed to our campaign".

Mr. Obama likes to use the word invest, the majority of the public see it as more of rob, pillage type of environment.

If the pilgrims would have settled for a 40-50% tax rate on tea, this whole experiment in democracy would never have happened.  (Yes, I do know the real story behind the Boston Tea Party, I was trying to make a point.)

So at what point do the "patriots" grab their guns, and fertilize the tree of liberty?
