I am one of the (possibly few) who don't get the 'OT:'.  But I still get
tons of garbage because everyone else forgets the OT:  (or they remember the
OT but forget the ':').

I agree with John, and I would be in the same boat as Gavin except that I
need the info in the few ON topic posts more than he does (because I know
less).

Maybe we could redefine OT to mean ON topic, then the serious ones can set
themselves up to read ONLY those, and just remember to put the OT: in all
our posts.  Absurd, but I bet it would work better that what we have now.
