Tim,

I see two potential problems with this approach.

First, the COPYVOL does a bitwise copy.  To me that means it is going to copy over all the bits
whether they are in use or not.  It could take a long time.

Second it looks like a serial process, so only one disc drive at a time.  This could end up taking
a long time.

Since you added two fiber cards, I would assume that your are talking about an N-Class server.

However, the VA7100 only SUPPORTS 1 fiber port, even though there are two ports, one is considered
active.  The other supports the CommandView workstation (although) technically it should work.

Do you have connectivity to the VA7100 yet?

Has anyone done this before?  Can you set up a test of concept window to do some timing and see if
this can be done in parallel?
