I have 917 sitting in my garage and I just got an access to 928RX CPU board.??If I?change the CPU board on 917, will it actually be a 928RX machine? (I am talking about performance and all) or do I need to have the backplane board as well? (what is the difference on the backplane - other then being able to connect an extra board?)

Another question - please refresh my memory - User could not upgrade from MPE/iX 6.0 to MPE/iX 7.0 if they had HP-IB printer - correct?
