I have an immediate need (the engineers are here waiting on me) to find
out how to setup my HP 3000/987's first routers. We set up two CISCO
2501 Routers with a network interface cable between two DSU's, thus
simulating a remote location. From the "host router" we can PING any
device, at any location. From the "remote router" we cannot reach any
device on the corporate lan or main backbone. From a node (pc) on the
host lan, I cannot reach any device beyond the router's serail 0 port.
My host is apparently recognizing "foreign" packets and either ignoring
them or discarding them because it does not know what to do with them.

It's been suggested that I need to set up a "default gateway" on my
host. I do not know how to do this and the NMMGR Manual has a lot to be
desired, even for as much as mentioning this.

Please help!
