I have just installed SAMBA/IX version 0.7c on my hp3000. Everything seems
to be working fine, that is when I connect from any Windows NT workstation,
but when I try from my Windows 95 workstations, the following occurs. I can
see the hostname of the HP3000 under Network Neighborhood but when I try to
see the shares I get the following error:
CANNOT ACCESS \\HOSTNAME
NETWORK IS BUSY
I have double checked my tcpip configuration and network setup on the PC.
Everything seems to be in order.
I do notice some errors in the log.smb file as follows:
Added interface ip=167.230.244.232 bcast=167.230.244.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Warning - chroot(/) not done
Error writing 4 bytes to client. -1. Exiting
Does anyone out there have a clue as to what my problem might be?
