Stephen,

You need to create a flat file called NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS  . This file does
your ldev to IP address conversion. If the file doesnt exist simply create
it in editor. Here is the minimal info you will need for the file.

listf npconfig.pub.sys

FILENAME

NPCONFIG

print npconfig.pub.sys

"17      (network_address = 192.1.2.7)"

where 17 is the ldev and whatever ip address you use. i found this info on
my hp manuals cd rom. hope this helps.
