It does seem curious.  Somehow your Lookout and Joe's seem to be having a
disagreement.  From the driver's seat of a steam-powered email client, I can
report that Joe's messages (to 3000-L, at least) don't come as attachments.
I have stolen two header lines from one of his messages and included them in
this, though, so I'd be interested to know if my message also comes through as
an attachment.
