Steve,

I recently looked at the 12H and heard similar stories of performance problems.
When I asked HP, I was told to use maximum number if drives (i.e 12- 9GB instead
of 6 -18GB) and only fill them 50%. My problem is I have a hard time
convincing management to buy 300GB when we only really need 150GB.

Apologies if I misled here. I am basically looking at
both options Mirroring and 12H.

Mirroring is the system we currently have, and does
not seem to work correctly.

The 12H raid option is the sytem which we are
currently looking towards and I need to find out if it
is a good solution, or if the horror stores if slow
performace and the ARM utility are an urban myth.

Thanks

Steve
