Hi Tom,

The 'Leak' doesn't have to happen. If you look at TT22.PUB.SYS in TTUIL
(IIRC), you will see that it will pole the printer. So, printer type 22 will
provide you with handshaking for this type of functionality.

Not all interface cards provide this type of handshaking, but I believe the
cards sold by HP for these model printers do.
