Maybe we need to emphasise the brand to non-technical people to get buy-in?
Do the decision-makers really care whether its a 9000 or a 3000, as long as
it's
HP and as long as it does the job?

IBM have been marketing their proprietary mainframes for decades now. Maybe
HP needs to analyse how they've done that.
