Hi John,
Here at the Oregon Health Sciences Foundation we produce a "Thank You"
letter for every gift recieved (easily 25,000+ letters a year!) and we produce a
laser signature for most of 'em!

<<<<< Potential Plug Alert >>>>>>
We use the Fantasia product by Larc in conjuction with SRN's IRIS software
to do this. The signatures are kept on the HP 3000 as files and are downloaded
to the LaserJet (we use a IIIsi for this) when the letter is printed.

We currently have either SRN or Larc set up the signature file and then
install it on the HP 3000 copy of Fantasia.

Works very well and the Fantasia software will even do company logos and
such :)

<<<<< End of Potential Plug Alert - had this been a real Plug you would have
been instructed on where to tune for further information ;) >>>>>

I am investigating the option to laser print signatures on computer created
correspondence and I'd be grateful for any pointers. The application
uses Quiz (PH 7.29) to print the letters on a HP LaserJetIII si.

If anyone is doing something similar I'd appreciate information on how the
plug-in cartridges work for printing signatures as well as sources for the
cartridges and any other information you feel is helpful.

TIA.
