If you know that there is a process that has a habit of running away, put
some kind of script out there that will test for what this job may be doing.
You will not be able to do this is you don't know what the job is.

Glance or SOS, from Lund, will show you who the runaway is, but you still
have to abort it.  If the situation is so bad, system reset is required.
The big thing is to find the runaway before it gets out of hand!!
