But let's wait until 2026 and 2037, so we can have a better idea of what if
anything still needs to be done, when, and by whom.

We could assign the asteroid to any of many departments of the US
government, like the accounting office. They've lost place of some pretty
large sums of money; maybe they can make get this asteroid lost, too.
