I apologize if my attempt at an explanation offended you. I had read
her article before reading yours and was just pointing out that her use
of the word "nuke' may have been misleading.

In total agreement.

Agreed again. That brings up the question: why did our government make
thousands of them?

Since our leaders are not considered crazy, it may have been stark fear.
