Or should that be Help, Perl?

Anyway, I'm trying to get a Perl script running that I stole off the
internet (actually it was from our own web site) that performs a rudimentary
search of a web site. At first, I wasn't sure it was a Perl script, but the
header (#!/usr/bin/perl) sort of gave it away. So, I downloaded and
installed Perl from bixby.org. I was getting the following error when I
tried to execute the script:

[Tue Sep 25 13:45:14 2001] [error] (2)No such file or directory: exec of
/APACHEFW/PUB/cgi-bin/search failed
[Tue Sep 25 13:45:14 2001] [error] [client 10.251.46.95] Premature end of
script headers: /APACHEFW/PUB/cgi-bin/search

And then it dawned on me that I needed to change the script's first line to
#!PERL/PUB/perl and when I did that I got the following error only:

[Tue Sep 25 13:54:15 2001] [error] [client 10.251.46.95] Premature end of
script headers: /APACHEFW/PUB/cgi-bin/search

Any ideas on how to debug this?
