It would be most interesting to see other parameters varied...

For example, for DDS2 above, what happens witout MAXTAPEBUF?
What happens without INTER? (I'm particularly interested in that question)

What's the difference between specifying *software* compression = none vs. HIGH?
(Software compression reduces the load on the SCSI channel)
